Colombia is the second most biodiverse country in the world. Moreover, it is a country of birds. Boasting more than 1,920 species it has become a paradise for birdwatchers around the globe.
With a record number of 1,590 birds seen in one day, Colombia was crowned birdwatching world champion for the third consecutive year during Global Big Day 2019, organized by the Laboratory of Ornithology at Cornell University.
Kike Calvo and Walter Carzon did an incredible job with their Coloring Book Birds of Colombia from the book seriesThe Adventures of Pili.
Through wonderful illustrations of some of our most colorful birds, they captured our natural wealth and diversity.
We applaud and recommend this remarkable piece of children literature that introduces young kids to birdwatching and care for nature.
